Installer measured the error by setting thermo to display only the remote sensor temp. This is residential setup, where I have a 4 degree difference in ambient between where the Thermostate is in the master bedroom entry, and temp in all rooms. The master bedroom entry is sheltered from outside, clearly. Point is that I am trying to address an only 4 degree differential, need to average, and 2 degrees puts this device as essentially useless.
The remote areas as 4 degrees or more cooler in the winter, and4 degrees or more depending on time of day warmer in the summer. I later took my multitester, and set it for 20k ohm. Unit has 4 digits, C instructions use a 5 digit number. Using just the first four digits from the table in the manual, the ohm rating suggested that the sensor was reading about degrees below ambient. Was I using the multi-meter correctly? I followed instruction manual in disconnecting wire at sensor, then using the multimeter in series to take the reading.
I can adjust for some of this with the display adjustment on the Visionpro. Please let me know about each question.
